Chapter 1444 I have a plan

Only the sound of wind could be heard above the sea of Golden Clouds, as everyone on the ship had hushed up. This was not the first time Goldilocks had directly disrupted the captains plans, and if it weren't for the fact that the ducks golden body seemed impervious to damage, they would have already tasted duck soup.

The duck was both a source of great wealth and disaster, for the gold it transmuted things into was not ordinary gold. No, it was Nether Lily Gold, which was an invaluable metal that approached the hypothetical limit of spiritual energy conductivity.

An ounce of that metal could buy a planet back in the Origin realm. Unfortunately, things in the Folklore realm didn't actually operate like other realms, and there was basically no market for this metal that could otherwise set off wars anywhere else in the universe.

Too much of a good thing was also bad, and the group had so much Nether Lily Gold that they would rather not have anymore of it. In fact, Jack had to actively learn how to revert transmuted items back to normal - something that could only be achieved if the transmutation had not actually been completed.

Jack sighed, and then flew over, summoning a massive chain as he did. He tied the chain, which also slowly turned to gold, around the two eels, and pulled them to the front of the ship.

Now the Jolly Rancher did not need to be pulled by magical beasts to fly, but since he already had them, he might as well use them. There was just one problem now: he didn't have a legitimate excuse to search out the seven Dwarf Dragons.

Jack trapped Goldilocks inside a wooden cage and pulled it back to the ship, the confused duck still not understanding what was happening. It just tried to peck at the cage, which started to turn it to gold. @@@@

"Guys, think of ideas," said Jack. "How can we approach the dragons?"

Jack gave them all a look. Unlike the rest of them, Jack still cultivated the same, mysterious cultivation technique that Lex used.

As a result, not only was his body much stronger, so was his spirit and his soul. In fact, everything about this body was being subtly elevated just because Lex was so much stronger. But that was not the path Jack wanted to take.

Jack wanted to surpass the limits that had been imposed on fairies, and discover why they were so stifled. A race with all affinities, able to wield spirit energy according to their desires, should have been at the forefront of the universe. Instead they were servants and slaves almost everywhere.

As such, Jack did not think it would be easy, simple, or perhaps even possible for him to tolerate the tribulation to become an immortal. However, the Artica realm provided the perfect solution to his problem, allowing any to undertake a challenge to grow stronger instead of undertaking a major tribulation.

"It's because the dragons can take us to a magical realm that I just learned of," Jack answered. "Within that realm lies the opportunity for all of us to enter the immortal realm."

Silence. Once again, there was only silence, as everyone was stunned by Jack's claim. Then they all turned to look at Goldilocks with blood in their eyes and hate in their hearts!

Even if it was only an opportunity, the chance to become immortal was too great for them to give up just like that.

"Indeed, this is a problem," Tiny-Sparkles said. "If we approach the dwarfs directly, someone will spot us. Just because there is a law stating that none can look into the affairs of another state, we have a faint opportunity to reach the dwarves without arousing suspicions, but using the Gravity Eels was bound to fail. I have another idea."

Everyone's eyes suddenly changed, from being filled with hate, to gleaming with excitement.
