Chapter 51 - Glad To Be Back

Although Lacey enjoyed spending the last few days in bed, or laying around the suite, Lacey was feeling better now and eager to get back to work. She felt stifled and couldn't take another day being cooped up.

So, she got up early the next morning, showered, but when she walked into the bedroom, Julien was waiting for her.

He folded his arms across his chest, raising an eyebrow. "And where do you think you're going?"

Lacey frowned tilting her head down, her lips forming a straight line. "I'm going to train. I miss my young warriors."

Julien chuckled, and closed the distance between them, placed his hands on her shoulders, and looked into her eyes. "Lacey, it's endearing that you miss your babies, so to speak, but I don't want you to get hurt." He shrugged. "Why don't you stay in and rest? Take off a few more days."

Lacey shook her head, standing before him, wrapped only in a towel. "No. I hate to bring it up, but the Wildclaws aren't resting. And hard telling when they might attack next. We need to be ready."

"Okay, but I don't want you to work out." He shrugged. "Just stand to the side and tell them what to do." Julien shrugged. "You're good at that."

Lacey laughed. "Thanks a lot!"

"You're welcome," he smirked. Then he picked her up and headed for the shower, as her towel fell to the floor.

"Hey! Put me down!" Lacey laughed. "I just took a shower.”

"But you're going to need another one when I get through with you." He gently bit her earlobe as he closed the door, claiming what was his. Then he stood her in the shower and pulled off her towel, causing her to laugh. A guttural growl erupted from his lips as he pulled her roughly into his arms and gave her a gentle love bite on the shoulder. Then he lifted her into his strong arms and pressed her against the wall, pushing her breasts against his chest as his lips devoured hers. She moaned softly as he moved down to her breasts, licking and sucking her beads, sending sensations straight to her sex. Then he licked all the way up to her neck, his lips groping, yet caressing, her skin as he rubbed his length between her thighs, letting her know what she ws going to get. "As you wish." Then he lifted her off her feet and she instinctively wrapped her legs around him, claiming what was hers.

"Did I hurt you?" he asked, his eyes filled with concern.

"No."

When he slammed into again, she felt his whole length, full inside her. Then he pulled back and slammed into her roughly over and again until she screamed her orgasm. When they got out to the practice field, it was still early, but most of the warriors were ready and waiting. Lacey felt bad for having kept them waiting, but then again, it hadn't been for long.

"Welcome back, Alpha Queen," Koi said, hugging her around the waist, and then remembered himself and let her go. "Oh! So sorry, My Alpha Queeness! But it's good to have you back."

Lacey patted his shoulder and hugged him back. "Thanks, Koi! You were really brave out there."

Koi nodded his thanks, his eyes filled with pride.

"Good to see you," another shifter said.

"How are you feeling?" asked another.

Well wishes and concern resonated through the pack when they saw her, some patting her on the back in welcome, saying nothing.

Julien folded his arms across his chest with obvious pride. Then he leaned over and whispered, "They thought you fought bravely, saving the young warriors. Our youth is the future of this pack and you protected them."

Lacey nodded, glad to be back.
