"What's gotten into you, brother? You're acting all weird out of nowhere, hahaha!"

Jonathan felt rather overwhelmed today, right after returning to "his house" he was overwhelmed by a family of very wonderful, yet hyperactive and very annoying people.

These were the family members of Jonathan's character, and they actually looked a bit like his own family back in Yggdrasil.

Although his mother and father definitely looked different, even more his little sister, there were still quite a lot of resemblances.

But not in personality!

"My son, is there something bothering you? Have you been training or not? That face looks a bit pale! Have you drunk your super vitamin formula every day thrice a day?"

A tall, muscular father with short blonde hair and sharp blue eyes with a short clear yellow beard, his arms almost bursting out of his very tight white shirt.

"Yeah he looks kind of stiff... Maybe he wants to spar or something? Huh? Wanna go brother? I think I've improved my swordsmanship just a bit more!"

A brother only two years younger than him who was like a slightly younger and slender version of himself, though he had a blocky head and a longer nose... and lighter colored blonde hair.

"Hey big brother, maybe you should go rest? I'll give you a massage!"

A cute little sister around ten years younger than him that was very dedicated to help him, although she ultimately also came out as annoying.

"Hahh... Maybe you should go rest yes, you don't look like you have appetite, did you eat before coming home?"

And a mother that reminded him a lot of his own, although she was a bit more noisy, with short blonde hair, tired looking yellow eyes, and a slender and tall figure.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"I... I'm fine, I'll eat," Jonathan sighed, smiling lightly. "Thank you mo... mom."

He struggled to say the word because even then he knew this woman wasn't really his mother...

But at the end, he also felt a slightly warm feeling.

His sister was worried.

Even his annoying father became serious now.

And his brother too.

"I'm fine..." Jonathan laughed a bit. "I'm just happy to be here, thank you for having me... Your hospitality, I will never forget it."

He smiled honestly, making his family smile a bit, although they were still a bit confused. "Eh?" his little sister wondered. "Whatchu even talking about!"

"You're talking like we're strangers!" laughed his brother. "Come on dude, relax! Maybe you're studying or exercising too much? Don't do everything dad asks you, he's a bit of a training maniac."

"What's gotten into you, hahah!" laughed his father. "Oi what did you say? I'm not a

maniac!"

"Come on, eat more son!" his mother smiled, serving him more mashed potatoes and placing even more food next to him.

"Thank you..." Jonathan smiled. "Thank you for making me remember my family so vividly. I'll protect you for as long as I stay in this world... I might not be your son, but I'll take responsibility for

him, and his family."

He nodded at "his mother".

"Thanks, it's delicious, mother," he ate the whole steak in seconds. "Can I have more? I'm

really hungry!"

"Sure! Hehe, I made a bunch for this big family of mine, have your way!" his mother giggled, serving him more meat.

Jonathan smiled, although he also felt slightly guilty he was enjoying someone else's family.

"If what Maria and the rest said is true... then their son... the person I'm replacing..." he thought. "He's long dead... and not even his traces are left. His appearance, his personality... everything gone. Yet this family doesn't even know about that."

Jonathan gripped his fists tightly.

"Whatever happened to him... I have to find it out!"
