My Celestial Ascension

Chapter 638 Just Who Is Inside That VIP Room?

Chapter 638 Just Who Is Inside That VIP Room?

"9 million!" Denise shouted from his VIP room, excitement gleaming in his eyes as he gazed at the weapon.

"This is the perfect weapon for someone like me. Only the Drake family has the strength to wield something like this. My father would easily lift this weapon since the sword he wields is something no one else can even budge—not even me." Denise's grin widened with pride as he ogled the spear.

Beneath him, the woman writhed with a mixture of pain and despair. Her lustful moans seemed hollow, her eyes vacant and lifeless, resembling a broken doll discarded after use.

The other two women, still trembling, looked at their friend in horror. Their naked bodies quivered as Denise's gaze landed on them, sending a chill down their spines.

'Why did we decide to come along with this cruel, heartless bastard?! This is the end for us!' Both women cried inwardly, terror etched on their faces.

"10 million!"

Suddenly, Elias's loud, commanding voice boomed from his VIP room, drawing everyone's attention.

'A weapon that can only be wielded by godlike beings? I must claim it first. I'll deal with the logistics later,' Elias thought, a cunning smile creeping across his face.

"Young Master, I don't believe it's wise to bid on an unknown weapon that no one can even wield. It's practically useless," the Magic Knight Captain at his side said. His voice was calm yet tinged with concern.

Elias shook his head, dismissing the caution.

"What if we can't use it? We can simply dismantle it for its materials and forge new, powerful weapons. True, the weapons crafted from its remains may not match its original strength," Elias paused, his grin widening, "but they would be strong enough to overpower even the legendary weapons—perhaps even destroy them."

The Magic Knight Captain's eyes widened slightly before he smiled respectfully. "As expected of you, Young Master Elias. Always thinking ahead. Your future is as bright as the Silver family name."

Elias leaned back in his chair, his fingers tracing the rim of his glass. "The only challenge now is figuring out how to transport this treasure back to our mountain. It won't be easy."

"Young Master, it's unlikely the other Ten Great Families or the rulers of the nations will let us win this auction without a fight," the Captain reminded him gravely.

"Leave that to me." Elias waved off the concern. "I'll make arrangements to ensure this treasure reaches our family estate safely."

Pouring himself a drink, he raised the glass with a sly smile. "For now, let's enjoy the show. The real battle is about to begin as the Ten Great Families prepare to clash over this treasure."

In just a few moments, the price of the mysterious spear skyrocketed to 13 million gold coins, leaving the middle-class families in the auction utterly shocked.

"14 million!" Prince Kian of the Nightshade Empire bellowed, his voice echoing through the grand stadium.

"15 million!" someone else shouted from one of the VIP rooms, the magic lamp at the room's entrance glowing brightly to signal the bid.

"16 million!" Emperor Philip raised the bid without hesitation, his excitement growing stronger with each passing second.

As soon as Emperor Philip placed his bid, Empress Selena's expression turned concerned. "Husband, are you certain about this weapon? Isn't it pointless to buy something no one can wield? Its weight alone makes it a waste of gold coins."

Philip chuckled softly, his eyes fixed on the spear. "Look at the bright side, Selena. We can extract the metal from this weapon and forge powerful magical arms. That alone could significantly bolster our empire's strength."

Inside VIP Room #1, Yuan was relaxed, holding Valeria close as his fingers traced her slender waist. He teased her playfully while Anna and Grace rested their heads on his shoulders, their expressions serene.

Julie leaned back, chuckling loudly. "Have you heard these mortals? They think they can melt this spear and use its materials to create magical weapons. How amusing!" She grinned widely, her laughter infectious.

"Well, ignore them," Fang Xiaoyan muttered coldly, her sharp eyes narrowing. "They're just ignorant mortals who have no idea how vast the heavens truly are."

Sylvia, who had been silent until now, stood gracefully and removed the bracelet from her wrist. As soon as she did, her magical disguise faded, revealing her true form.

Vanessa, unaware of Sylvia's identity as a Dark Elf, froze in shock. Her eyes widened, and her thoughts raced.

'Sylvia is a Dark Elf?! This can't be real! I've never heard of a Dark Elf choosing a human as her husband, not even in ancient times!' Vanessa's mind spiraled, struggling to reconcile this revelation.

Sylvia gently pushed Valeria aside and settled her voluptuous, curvaceous figure onto Yuan's other lap. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she leaned in and kissed him passionately.

When their lips finally parted, Sylvia gazed into his eyes and asked, "My dear, aren't you going to bid for this treasure? We can't win it if we don't place a bid."

Yuan smirked, his expression calm yet confident. "I was letting them have their fun before stepping in. After all, I have no intention of wasting time with these foolish mortals."

Sylvia giggled sweetly, her eyes shimmering with affection. "Naughty..." she whispered, leaning in for another passionate kiss.

"25 million!" Ajax's voice suddenly boomed throughout the stadium, his bid cutting through the murmurs like a blade. His tone carried a smug confidence, certain that no one would dare outbid him at such a high price.

However, his self-assurance crumbled the moment Yuan spoke.

Yuan gently set Valeria and Sylvia on the sofa before standing up and stepping toward the balcony. He surveyed the crowd below, their murmurs faintly echoing through the massive stadium.

"30 million!"

His voice was calm yet carried an undeniable authority, silencing the crowd as if the weight of his words alone had struck them.

For a moment, the entire stadium fell into a stunned silence. Not a single word was uttered, the sheer magnitude of the bid leaving everyone in disbelief.

"30 million for this useless weapon that no one can wield? Has he lost his mind?" whispered a man in the audience, echoing the sentiment of many.

All eyes turned toward VIP Room #1, curiosity and shock etched on their faces.

"Who could possibly be in that room?" Heidi muttered, raising an eyebrow. "After dominating the first auction, they've been oddly quiet... and now, with just two words, he's silenced the entire stadium."

Even Teressa, the anchor of the auction, stood frozen in the center of the stage, momentarily dumbfounded by the bid.

Snapping out of her stupor, she quickly regained her composure. "Since no further bids have been placed in over a minute, the auction for this treasure is officially concluded!"

She gestured toward the VIP room with a bright smile. "Congratulations to VIP Room #1 for winning this magnificent treasure!"
