Chapter 718 Frost Death Knights
Chapter 718 Frost Death Knights
After fighting hundreds of dragons, Rain was like a truck against ordinary enemies. He used the dungeon break as a chance to max out the skills of the physical path, so punching, smashing and choking things was what he did for several hours. Fortunately, the Monsters were stupid enough to come at him, so he didn't have to chase them.
The skill Grappling received 120 experience points.
The skill Ancient Stamina received 120 experience points.
The skill Iron Fists received 120 experience points.
...
"This is more experience than usual... I guess they got stronger with the dungeon breaks," Rain thought after he smashed the head of a skeleton.
Until now, Rain didn't find any new enemy, but the golems were approaching... they were obedient enough to wait for their turn after the skeletons, though.
Rain looked to the sides and saw the parties around him that were supposed to be defending the area from the monsters. Although they were heavily outnumbered, they weren't giving any room for the monsters too... they also felt like ordinary monsters were a joke if compared to surviving the dragons.
Moreover, with their new equipment made of fire dragons scales and bones, they could easily destroy and block the attacks of such creatures. The spears and shields crafted from bones and scales of fire dragons showed a formidable and impressive appearance.
In any case, Rain found only a few obstacles along the way, he only fought a few of them as well until he reached the seventh floor. Thanks to Impulse and crossed dozens of kilometers in a couple of minutes.
As Rain ascended to the seventh floor, a noticeable drop in temperature greeted him. The chill in the air was palpable, causing even the breath exhaled by Rain to freeze momentarily. The warriors, now equipped with their new bone and fire dragon scale weapons, were better prepared to withstand the cold, yet a more pressing challenge awaited them.
The floor's surface was exceptionally slippery, creating treacherous conditions for any advancing group. The corridors, expansive and icy, posed a threat as a single misstep could result in perilous consequences. Alongside the slippery footing, menacing ice stalactites adorned the walls, their sharp edges glinting ominously.
The potential danger of these stalactites added an additional layer of complexity to the already hazardous environment. Navigating through this frigid and perilous landscape would require the utmost caution and precision from the warriors.
Before long, the newest enemy suddenly appeared. Rain's eyes widened as he witnessed the emergence of the new monsters on the seventh floor. These creatures seemed to draw in the surrounding cold, their forms gradually transforming into that of heavily armored death knights.
The once ethereal entities now took on a more tangible and menacing presence, clad in formidable armor that spoke of an enhanced and formidable threat. The air around them seemed to resonate with an ominous energy, signaling the arrival of adversaries more formidable than any encountered on the previous floors.
"Ah, ok..." Rain said when the beast charged at him and he just fired a blast of fire from his right hand and melted the creature. "I am kind of busy and I don't want frostbites, so... yeah."
Rain's patience already reached the limits thanks to the enemies that keep bothering him. So he didn't care about anything else... he was just going to act with a single goal in mind: to gain time. He didn't have time to waste with the stupid games that the enemies might want to play with him.
The seventh floor was short since it just appeared. It was one hundred and fifty meters long and the monsters only appeared once every ten minutes, but by his estimations. It was supposed to be as strong as his best warriors already...
