Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix

Chapter 714 Hatred

Chapter 714 Hatred

The falling rocks from the exploded earth dragon's remains added to the chaos, creating a rain of stones that further intensified the destruction. The impact of the explosion was felt across the battlefield. The breach in the once-imposing wall now presented a vulnerable point in the city's defenses, adding another layer of urgency to the ongoing battle.

Rain could almost hear the voice from the shield laughing even thought it was complete silent... he was cornered and he didn't have many options. Still, Rain made up his mind when he heard another massive explosion coming from the battlefield on the left side... the dragons were self-destructing there too.

Rain bit his lips in annoyance and then summoned the ice blades on his arms and legs... in the next moment, he flew at supersonic speeds at the dragons in front of him.

All of the fire dragons self-destructed at the same time to take Rain with them... if anything, they knew that Rain's armor would break apart thanks to the massive power of the explosion.@@@@

The sky turned orange thanks to all the flames and energy spreading around... the earth dragons ignored that and just dashed toward the capital with all their might... but as soon as they began to cross the hole in the walls, they heard the high pitching sound.

When the earth dragons looked behind, they saw Rain approaching... they summoned countless earth walls to block him, but Rain cut them off like a razor sharp sword... they couldn't believe it, his armor was completely fine, despite the fact that the explosion of the fire dragons probably could have destroyed an entire mountain...

Without any other choice, the earth dragons exploded as well... it would have been better if they were in the middle of the city, but that would do it.

Rain found himself caught in a storm of rocks and debris, the aftermath of the explosive demise of the earth dragons. Countless projectiles battered him from all directions, and the forceful blasts of wind accompanying the chaos sent him tumbling through the air. The relentless assault left him disoriented, his senses momentarily overwhelmed by the barrage.

"Sorry, Rain..." Roan said when Rain pushed away the leg of the beast. "I am fine here, go check the other side."

Rain used Full Heal on his father to stop the bleeding in his legs and then took him to Seara... it wasn't the first time that he lost a limb, but that shouldn't be pleasant...

"... I am going to check the other side," Rain said when he put his father to rest against the wall.

The destructive aftermath of the dragons' onslaught left everyone in the raging Phoenix devastated, their losses echoing in the heavy silence that followed. As Rain surveyed the scene, he noticed the solemn nods among his companions, a tacit acknowledgment of the heavy toll they had paid for their victory.

The dragons, even in their defeat, had inflicted severe casualties through their suicidal attacks, an unsettling reminder of the ruthless power they wielded.

The unfairness of the situation hung in the air, a bitter realization that, despite prevailing against the dragons, the cost had been extraordinarily high. In the face of such losses, the raging Phoenix needed to regroup and strategize, forging a path forward against the relentless threat posed by the dragons.

Rain found himself increasingly annoyed by the devastating damage the dragons had exacted on his forces. However, he had little time to dwell on his frustration as massive explosions erupted on the opposite side of the city.

The relentless assault of the dragons persisted, and Rain couldn't help but harbor a growing resentment towards the formidable adversaries that seemed determined to bring chaos and destruction to their doorstep. The deep-seated hatred for dragons only intensified as the consequences of their actions continued to unfold...
