Chapter 450 – Unfair Test

Max and Lily were brought to a seat. Their tester was grinning from ear to ear. Occasional giggles escaped her lips as she looked at both of them.

"Now, please finish them. Only when I judge that they are finished will I give you the key. Of course, you can't help each other. Welcome to the disgusting dish test! Give up now if you want to. If you eat it, then we consider you to join the test."

'It's cheating!' Max wanted to say that as he glared at Nina.

Unlike other participants, whose dishes were probably prepared based on what they said they disliked on the internet, Max's dishes were prepared by his childhood friend, who knew his preference pretty well.

In his life, this blue noodle was the worst version of Rush Noodle he ever had. He would get a stomach ache if he ate this. Whether he managed to finish or not, he would get a debuff.

"L-Lily, shall we give–" Max turned to Lily and found her ate the spicy Rush Noodle with a red face.

She turned to him and widened her eyes, slurping the noodle that was already in her mouth.

"W-What?" She asked innocently, but all hope in Max's face had gone.

He was as white as a sheet, his shoulders slumped in defeat.

"Shisisisisi, you can't escape now."

An evil giggle escaped Nina's lips. She had planned this.

'As planned!'

Nina didn't know Lily's preference or the dish she disliked. All she could assume was that Lily probably didn't like spicy food, but that was also incorrect.

'Thankfully, she answered my question last night and she actually likes spicy food.' Nina thought, 'So I changed my plan! Just force them to join the test, have Lily eat the noodle, and let Max suffer. Perfect plan to get a good grade.'

It was unfair? No, it was survival to the fittest.

Because they were friends for a long time, they could do something like this. Besides, this test was actually prepared as a prank from BioShow. The school side also knew that and decided to do this disgusting dish test.

Before long, Lily finished her dish and asked for water. Nina quickly prepared it and the girl finished with a satisfied sigh.

The toilet was flushing and Max emerged from within. He wasn't in a good condition and had to rest a few minutes.

Lily looked at him worriedly. Her expression was full of guilt. She didn't know that it would be this bad.

"I can still move. If I think I can't finish the test, then I will skip them, okay? Let's go to the hover car and rest inside."

Lily looked at him worriedly before nodding. She knew that persuasion was useless when he was like this.

They returned to the hover car where Gloria was waiting for and entered. The guide looked at them and asked.

"Where should we go next? Ah, this is the map." She said, opening a large screen for Max and Lily to see.

The Gua Culinary school had turned dim, leaving only four bright images on the screen. One of them was located in a forest, two looked like buildings, while the last one was on a beach a bit away from their location.

That said beach was also where Mr. Strange hid the paper. The staff probably was waiting there with the host.

"Let's take the beach last. The two buildings looked close to each other, but it's far from where we are. Which means..."

"We take the forest test?" Lily finished his sentence and he nodded.

Listening to their conversation, Gloria nodded in understanding. Even she, the skilled guide, would go to the forest first to use time efficiently.

"Alright!" Gloria exclaimed, closing the map and starting the car engine. "Fasten your seatbelt! This ride will be a rocky one!"
