H x V Arcade, a short abbreviation for Heroes x Villains Arcade.

Just like its name implied, this was a fighting arcade game with two sides, Heroes and Villains. Even though it was called that, the fight could also happen between Heroes and Villains.

The reason based on the lore was that they were still humans. And humans had their own interests. No one was perfect and peaceful even though they were on the same side!

For example, one of the Heroes in the game was said to take another Hero's crush just to dump her a day later. That made the second hero furious and fought the first hero.

Another story was that a Villain accidentally killed another Villain's wife in his rampage. Both of them have tried to kill each other since that day.

This game's characters were filled with flawed individuals. They had a certain skill set and their own weaknesses. Nobody was perfect. That was what this game tried to convey to the players, although it was in a flawed way too.

Max chose this game because he thought it was fun. Playing with another body would be a challenge for him. Unlike other games, this game forced the player to look like the character they played.

Meaning that a man who played a female character would look like them too. Only some people chose to do that, though, as in this game there would be two characters with a similar skill set with a different gender to choose from.

Appearing in what seemed like an arena, Max opened the lobby match for his viewers. They flooded in and filled the spectator seats circling the arena in no time. More than 500 lucky viewers had joined and immediately made a commotion.

"Alright! I got in!"

"Hehe, my hands are trained from yesterday. I did it 5 times so I can enter today!"

They were a rowdy bunch of individuals. Among them, three people stood out. One was a girl wearing an otter onesie, standing between two men. A tall man with long hair stood on her left, and a creep with a face looking like a vampire stood on her right.

The attention the trio received didn't last long as Max coughed. His voice was transmitted to the large room easily thanks to the setting that made his voice louder.

"I am glad you're interested in BloodSucker, knowing he's a unique animal. Some of you will have a chance to see him up close when he's fighting, though he will be in a character's appearance, I hope you will be satisfied with that. For now, let's begin the intro by announcing the rules!"

"Hey, who are you calling a unique animal?!"

"First, I will fight one player. The winner will stay in the arena and the loser will step out. Once the winner gets 3 consecutive wins, he will need to step out of the arena to give others the chance. Of course, that includes me."

"I am ignored?" BloodSucker shrugged his shoulders and Max continued.

"Every 5 matches, I will join again to fight whoever is in the arena. And I will give $50 to those who win against BloodSucker! He will enter the arena with random intervals. A rare monster, so to speak."

"Why me?! Is this bullying? Breeze, this is bullying, right? I know you want me to die!"

Hearing that, the viewers got excited. They shouted that they would kill BloodSucker. To guts him alive. Some even said that they would not let him even hit them once.

It was a bit too much and unfair for Sucker, so Max added.

"It's not bullying, Sucker. If you win against your opponent, I will give you $100. Fair, right?"

BloodSucker immediately stopped complaining and froze in place. Eventually, he nodded.

"That's... fair, I guess? Can I stay in the arena if I win?"

"Sure. Only for 3 consecutive wins, though." Max nodded.

"Heh..." A low laugh escaped BloodSucker's lips as he turned around looking at the spectators. "Hahahaha! Come at me you maggots! I will turn you into my money cash! Let's take Breeze's money together!"

The crowd got excited once again. They laughed strangely and threatened BloodSucker. The viewers in the chat also got excited. Most talked about BloodSucker and how they wanted to join the match.

Glancing at the edge of his vision, Max noticed that his viewers had passed 28K. This was the highest he ever achieved. A grin was formed on his face.

'As expected. Inviting BloodSucker is the right choice. He's indeed my good walking bank.'
