It would seem that most of the sexual skills were used and levelled up last night and, wait... Oh! a new skill called [Elemental Aura]. Sweet! Another skill for the Bloodline tree. Just what I wanted. Well, excitement over, time to resume skill fusion. Oh and a few of stat points as well, but I’ll deal with those later.
I only had my [Soul] skills left and only a few of them were maybe compatible with my [Bloodline Aura] skill. Only [Soul Flame], [Soul Aura] and maybe [Soul Manifestation] would go with my Bloodline Aura.
I called out a portion of my [Bloodline Aura] and then did the same with my [Soul Aura] and they merged almost instantaneously, and the result was quite astonishing. It felt like I could see and feel everything within my Aura, I could feel the wind blowing, the grass waving and the leaves rustling. It was an otherworldly experience that made me feel like I was... well there was no real way to describe it honestly.
It was an unreal experience and I think I should use these skills in tandem in the future. And, now that I think about it, maybe I could make an Elemental Soul Aura skill. It should be easy enough seeing as I already have the [Elemental Aura] skill.
I already had my Aura out so I just activated the skill and decided to use [Fire]. My Aura gained the power of fire... and that was it, no new skill or anything, just, fire. I raised my hands and split the two Auras into one hand each, both of them had flames coming from them.
I was confused as to why and then I realised that the [Elemental Aura] skill isn’t restricted to one specific type of Aura, in fact it should work for all of them.
With that figured out, I quickly cancelled the [Elemental Aura] skill and my [Soul Aura] also. That left me with [Soul Flame] and [Soul Manifestation].
After trying that out with my [Soul Aura], I didn’t have high hopes for [Soul Flame], a skill which I don’t exactly know how it works.
I create a [Soul Flame] in the palm of my left hand. It had a white iridescent ethereal sway to it that captivated anyone who looked at it, including myself.
I shook myself out of my stupor as I heard a rustling sound nearby.
Cythistia and I turned around to look towards the direction the sound came from. We waited until we heard another rustling noise coming from our right.
I threw the Aura infused [Soul Flame] at the shrubbery. I’d slowly and silently added my Aura while I was waiting for any sign of movement.
The now bright iridescent white flame shot towards the shrub silently until it vanished, having flown through the foliage and into whatever was behind it.
"YYYYYAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!"
We heard a shrill screech cry out from beneath the surface of the shrubbery. Then an ugly green thing popped out from underneath the leaves.
It was detestable little shit, otherwise known as a goblin.
My face contorted in pain and anger just looking at the thing as it shrieked from having its soul burned into nothing.
I clenched my hands into fists, my arms trembling as the memories of that night came crashing down on me.
I felt something embracing me from behind, and I was able to calm down. I leaned back into my lover’s chest as she wrapped her arms around me, holding me tightly.
As soon as the cries of suffering stopped, she asked, "Are you okay?"
"Mhmm." I responded verbally. I may not be able to speak for now, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make noises, after all, I groaned and moaned a lot last night.
After a few minutes of being embraced by my lover, we pulled away from each other.
I looked over to where the corpse was and saw that it was still alive, just not properly, as it was missing its soul.
I felt a hand fall on my shoulder and looked to see Cythistia looking at me with worry in her eyes. I just lightly smiled back at her as if to say, ’I’ll be okay.’
I once more looked at the goblins alive yet motionless body. Since it wasn’t worth letting it live, and I still have an avid aversion towards their kind, I sent a small [Fireball] its way and finished it off.
[Ding!]
[You have received +7,000 EXP and +5,000 Soul EXP]
After killing that goblin, we went back to hunting. I also tried out a few more skill combos to pass the time.
